DataCaption, Inc. was formed to develop technologies and products that address the convergence of traditional television the Internet. It is a Delaware corporation with its headquarters based in Seattle, Washington.
The Company's primary focus is new technology and methodologies that create an advanced form of captioning. DataCaption technology will provide a simple yet sophisticated tool, giving viewers the ability to access dialog captions, alternative language options and related information from online video and IPTV.
Jim Dunn, Chief Executive Officer
Jim Dunn held various positions in marketing and sales at Apple Computer, most prominently as brand manager responsible for introducing the Power Macintosh ($1.7B sales). He later served as the vice president of marketing at Pinnacle Systems (AVID), where he was responsible for capturing the number one market share position for consumer video editing products.
Michael Cockrill, Chief Technical Officer
Michael Cockrill brings 20 years of operational experience. Most recently he co-founded Mixxer, a 60-person company focused on mobile social networking. Prior to Mixxer, he was chief technical strategist at Qpass. Cockrill also spent nearly 10 years at Microsoft, where he led product management on MSN's original e-commerce efforts and the client strategy for Microsoft Merchant Server and Commerce Server. Previous to e-commerce, he contributed to the evolution of Word for Windows and created one of Microsoft's first Internet product: Internet Assistant for Word.
Brant Williams, Chief Marketing Officer
Brant Williams has more than a decade of experience in high-technology sales. As director of business development at Amazon.com, Mr. Williams was instrumental in building and expanding more than 10 lines of business, including apparel, sporting goods, gourmet food, home and garden, beauty, health/personal care, tools, pet supplies, musical instruments, and automotive. Prior to Amazon, Mr. Williams was with RealNetworks, marketing its digital media delivery systems to enterprises, educational, government and media concerns.
R. Michael Crill, Chief Financial Officer
As a high-tech CFO since 1995, Michael Crill has provided financial stewardship to nearly 100 high-tech startups, typically focusing on their initial years of intense growth. Mr. Crill's prior work history includes assignments as a division controller and plant manager with AlliedSignal, an operations analyst with Data General, a cost accounting consultant, and earlier, an officer supporting the U.S. Army's elite 82nd Airborne division.
Kurt Eide, Founder
Kurt Eide has supervised or produced over 400 hours of television programming. He has developed many initiatives addressing the convergence of traditional television and the Internet. He is a partner with the animation producers of The Simpsons on a new internet and television program launching next season. Eide also created a television series and integrated Internet effort as a means to affect minority-housing rates, for which he was formally recognized by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. He is the inventor and U.S. patent registrar for DataCaption technology.
Gernot Kalcher, Vice President, Product Manager
Gernot Kalcher specializes in media production in the digital realm, including animation, visual effects and online video. He has produced broadcast projects for several NFL and NBA teams and various television networks, as well as content for corporate clients such as Nintendo, Microsoft and more.

Dr. Bruce Butcher has extensive experience in domestic and international finance and transactional law, including representation of public companies, venture funds, and venture capitalists, with particular emphasis on intellectual property and technology-driven enterprises. He is a member of the Washington, New York, and U.S. Supreme Court Bar. Dr. Butcher has five degrees: a Bachelor of Science degree in physics, a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and three graduate and post-graduate degrees in law, including JD, LLM (International Law), and JSD, for which he received the New York University Founders Day award for outstanding scholarship.

Adam L.K. Philip
Mr. Philipp has been involved in the prosecution of patent applications in the computer science, electrical devices and related fields since 1998 and with Internet and technology related law since 1995. He also counsels clients on patent portfolio strategy, patentability and infringement matters. His varied practical experiences range from distributed object oriented programming to kernel-level memory management. His area of emphasis covers a wide variety of patent, trademark and trade secret issues, with particular focus on network and security related applications. Mr. Philipp speaks fluent Hebrew and basic Japanese. He and his family live in the Seattle area.

Jefferson Coulter has extensive experience in copyright, trademark, trade secret, and licensing law. He represents an international portfolio of trademark holders and technology companies, both in innovative new media and traditional settings. He is a frequent speaker on copyright and trademark legal issues. Mr. Coulter received his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University and his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Cohen, a former president of MGM Television, is currently the syndicator of shows such as Punk'd, UFC Wired and American Idol Rewind. Previously Cohen was vice president of specials and reality series for the ABC television network.
Hansen is the vice president of sales at HouseValues Inc, (SOLD) where he grew revenue from $22 million to $92 million over a 24-month period. He was head of sales at Onvia (ONVI) where he increased revenue 85%.
Sams is a nine-time Emmy award-winning TV producer. Sams launched the Oprah show nationally, as head of marketing/creative affairs for King World. He also helped to make Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy the #1 and #2 highest-rated series in syndication history.
